Recipe Notes

This recipe is written for cooking on the stove.  I typically make it in the crockpot and let it cook all afternoon.  If you do this, brown the meats with the onion, garlic and green pepper, then add to the crockpot.  From there, add the other ingredients and stir.  Set the crockpot to high (for 4 hours) or low (for 8 hours).  You'll love smelling it all day!!
